Anam is the Gaelic word for soul. Cara is the word for friend. Anam Cara means soul friend, a person to whom you could reveal the hidden depths of your life. Anam Cara is an act of recognition and belonging, a recognition that your soul belongs here, more importantly, your soul is owlways safe here.

The Rules to the Parliament are simple: Nobody gets to be right or wrong. Everybody gets to be vulnerable. More importantly, OWL conversations are kept confidential.
