Now Taking Reservations for Professional Development and Wellness Retreats
The OWL’s Inn is a 5 acre private residence located at the end of Ethel Lane in Knoxville Tennessee; home to Jameson the German Shepherd, 90s Dan, me, lots of birds, and tall trees.
Designed with guests in mind, retreat participants can stay solo or with a partner in the Wise OWL room located on the main floor, complete with a fire place and jacuzzi tub. Families and up to 4 guests can stay downstairs in the Winking OWL room, complete with a fully stocked bar, kitchen, living room, laundry, and a tanning bed that I’m told works great (left behind by the previous owl).
In the age of artificial everything, we wanted OWL to be authentic experience rooted in real relationships, real home cooking, and really close to downtown (just 10 minutes away). As an added bonus, it has a long history of women leaders!
Ethel, the original owl whooo purchased this entire Lane to develop for her family, sold this undeveloped land in 1999 to a woman named Johnnie, whoooo went on to build this private residence. I am the 3rd (and final) OWL to reside here, and it feels like kismet, a divine plan that began arguably 10 years ago when the falcons made their nest on the property and I SOARed to NYC to start my life over after selling my first company.
The OWL’s Inn is for y’all! OWLready set up for expansion, the future OWL Sanctuary, a smaller version of The Inn, will be built on the cleared parcel of land nestled right inside The OWL’s Inn property. It will be designed as a sanctuary for women leaders (and families) to escape for a week(end) and soak up nature, wisdom, and owl things Katie (that’s me!). Additional expansion includes a few yurts for those wanting an immersive forest bathing experience.
Women leaders want time to themselves, time in nature, and more importantly, time spent in a nurturing environment focused on (re)connecting to their soul’s purpose and what they came here to do in this lifetime.
The OWL’s Inn residence is open and booking 3-Day fall retreats this year for just $1200/person including 6 post-retreat coaching sessions to integrate your learning and SOAR in leadership, relationships, and life!
